About Pavlo

I am the founder and CEO of Equipped by Gestalt. My mission is to support clients in expanding their understanding, potential and capacity for meaningful change. Through the lens of the Human Potential Movement and Gestalt practice, I provide coaching and hypnotherapy to clients as they navigate their professional and personal journeys. My values and multi-cultural experiences as an Eastern European immigrant, now living in the U.S., influences and inspires me to coach and help everyone who’s interested in fulfilling, deep work, and more harmony across people of different backgrounds.

My clients are the instrument of action; I am merely the shepherd that helps move them along the journey. I do this by creating a caring space and applying unique techniques to my work, as well as bringing my intuition, active listening and empathy to promote meaningful dialogue, self-help and self-expression. Ultimately, we work together to build and integrate the awareness skills required to address a wide range of challenges that will come up in their work and lives.

I am a Board Certified Gestalt Professional Coach and Hypnotherapist through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the American National Board for Certified Counselors and Affiliates, and the American Counsel of Hypnotist Examiners. European-trained, my background is in education with a master’s degree from a top Ukrainian university and extensive experience working in schools, leading workshops and working in social services and city administrations. My hobbies include singing, competitive ballroom dancing, kickboxing, black and white portrait photography and world cooking.

Pavlo's style is supportive, and he also knows when it is useful to challenge the client. Deep listening and the ability to observe how gestures and pace - the unspoken communication - are strong features of his approach. I was attracted to the idea of having a coach who had trained in gestalt theory. In our short time together, Pavlo gave me an introduction to this style of coaching which, in particular, helped me become aware of and even plan for my needs and wants when in conversation with my business clients. I learned to spend more time with the client's physical 'tells' and cues.I felt heard, understood and, as I say, encouraged to reflect a lot more deeply on a personal level than I usually do when looking at business issues. Pavlo's professional background is varied and that also brings a helpful dimension to his coaching; so, too, his appreciation of people from different cultures.

Thank you for creating a safe environment, even remotely, for me to explore mindfulness. You provide guidance and encouragement in a way that pushes me to examine myself. I found during our sessions you were very good at hearing me ,understanding what i am saying and mirroring back to me information and behavior that ultimately helps me achieve clarity. Thank you for encouraging me to think about things in a novel and insightful way. If I had to give constructive feedback it would be the time before the actual session. Most of us are working on finding our groove between too short or too long a recap before moving into the coaching sessions.
